STABLE ENERGY
Even blood sugar means no afternoon crashes — sustained focus from morning to night. I can't tell you how helpful it is when I don't get hungry every couple of hours, but instead feel satisfied after a meal for 5, 6, 7 hours. And the the lack of sugar highs and lows is replaced by steady, calm energy - a very different feeling from the constant ups and downs. You will also experience fewer cravings - when you get rid of sugar from your diet, your body eventually stops craving it so strongly.

REDUCED INFLAMATION
Eliminating carbs and seed oils calms joint aches and digestive discomfort for many. This was definitely a case with me. I will never forget my first carnivore meal - which was cod with butter, and my stomach felt like it was wrapped around in a warm blanket. It was only then that I realized that I always had this low level stomach pain, which I later found out was likely caused by plant toxins, and only when the source of it was removed was when I noticed the difference and gained a point of reference.
Many people have also experience better auto-immune diseases management - evidence suggests that the carnivore diet may help alleviate symptoms of autoimmune conditions by removing potential dietary irritants. The elimination of plant-based foods, which can be inflammatory for some people, may result in reduced symptoms of chronic inflammation.

WEIGHT LOSS, SATIETY AND BODY COMPOSITION
High-protein, high-fat meals curb cravings and support lean muscle and fat loss. Many individuals report significant weight loss due to the diet's low carbohydrate content, leading to decreased insulin levels, stabilized glucose levels, and increased fat burning.
This may also be caused by entering ketosis, a metabolic state in which your body uses ketones, rather than glucose, for energy. People report increased muscle mass and weight-lifting capabilities, likely due to a higher protein intake associated with high-protein diets like the carnivore diet.
Unlike in many other diets on the carnivore diet you not only won't be nearly as hungry as quickly, and are not 'allowed' to get hungry - instead - you can can eat as much as you want - when you have had enough your body will tell you to stop eating.
You don't often get the same effect with a carb rich diets - as they are much lower in bioavailable nutrients density and so it's very easy to overeat as you are not usually getting nearly enough amount of nutrients your body needs, so the sheer quantities of foods an average person would eat are usually higher than they need.
This is not a problem on the carnivore diet, there is no such thing as 'portion control'. As Dr. Berry says that on the carnivore diet you can eat until you are 'comfortably stuffed'. Just remember the meats need to be fatty ( at least 15-20% on average ), not lean! Otherwise you are risking what's called protein poisoning. More info in this section:
There is no such thing as calorie counting on the carnivore diet as calories are an insignificant marker in opposition to other, much more important ones, such as nutrient density the carnivore diet delivers.
When we are hungry, what we really crave are nutrients and not how much units of energy the foods delivers. If the foods we are eating are low or almost devoid of nutrients then we will crave more.
Also - it's not about the amount of energy delivered, because in the end it's what our body does with it - because it's our hormonal system that decides what to do with the food we've just eaten. Find out more here:

MENTAL CLARITY
Ketone-fueled cognition leaves many reporting sharper, enhanced focus and steadier mood. This is the famous 'Carnivore Zen' - a lot of people find themselves to be calmer, less triggered, less anxious, brain fog lifted and having improved mental processes. This effect is possibly caused by stable blood sugar levels from a diet free of sugars and starches. I personally noticed that as soon as I deviate from the diet even for a couple of meals in a row, I find that it's all it takes for my mood and focus to deviate out of balance, even my memory can get affected.
BETTER SLEEP
This one is pretty much self explanatory.
I'll tell you a fun fact related to sleep. I recently heard from a podcast with a sleep expert, dr Matt Walker - there was a research done where they took healthy participants and had them sleep 4 x hours per night for 2 x nights in a row - the participants were then sent to a doctor, who after having done tests diagnosed them as pre-diabetic (!!!). That's how important sleep is for overall good health and for regulating sugar in the blood - so with lower insulin levels we are much more likely to get better sleep.
NUTRIENT RICH FOODS ONLY
Going carnivore helps to provide essential nutrients that the standard diet often lacks. The most notable of these are vitamin A, K2, D, B vitamins, and bioavailable forms of iron. Being on a carnivore diet also results in better heart health markers. When compared to moderately low-carb diets, zero-carb diets like the carnivore diet lead to greater improvements in metabolic markers.
HEALING INSULIN RESISTANCE
According to research 93% of everyone ( yes, everyone ) is either insulin resistant, pre-diabetic or diabetic.
The progression is chronological, first you get insulin resistance, then become prediabetic and then diabetic. What these conditions have in common is high insulin levels in the blood that pancreas is forced to produce, which leads to Insulin Resistance. You can find out more here:
It has been described as an underlying cause of many diseases such as : chronic inflammation, heart disease, cancers, type 2 diabetes, dementia, strokes, obesity, high blood pressure, PCOS.
Just to give you an example of how widespread this problem is - 90% of prediabetics don't know they have it!
Once the insulin resistance is healed ( by removing supply of excess carbohydrates ) and you become insulin sensitive, the body is allowed to have time to heal itself as it was supposed to. If we bombard it with constant excess carbohydrates ( yes, even fruit which many are high in sugars ) the body has to work very hard to maintain a balanced state.
And you might think - I feel ok most of the time - the problem is that your body might not tell you for a very long time, sometimes decades that something is wrong. Because it's the way we've been programmed - the body will give it absolutely everything in order to maintain a state of balance until it can't - that's often when get diagnosed with eg. high blood pressure, a heart condition, diabetes, etc.
The carnivore diet allows our body to heal and return to the state of balance and optimal functioning - and it will let you know by making you feel a lot better!

WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE TO BE ON A CARNIVORE DIET?
This is one of those things that not many people simply can't reference, because not many diets replace carbs with fat as energy source, which means you never get fat adapted and you don't have a chance to get into ketosis - which, when applied for a period of time gives you a very different experience.
Do you think you are addicted to carbohydrates? See part 6 called 'addressing the cravings' in the below section:
As soon as you have healed the carbohydrate addiction ( it's unfortunately is most of us ) - which can take anywhere from 1 week up to a few weeks - you'll see the grass is definitely greener on the other side ( and grass fed sometimes too 😂 ).
You will want to shout from rooftops - I had no idea I can feel this good :)
